The Football Business Academy (FBA) is a 21st-century institution dedicated entirely to football. It is built on the principle that students must develop their game through education and training. We believe that an institution focused on football education, working in close partnership with business and industry, can be more than an academic institution: it can be a powerful economic engine for the game.

As an accredited skills development provider, we offer courses, skills programmes and short accredited courses to students who wish to build successful careers in football. Our offering focuses on each individual’s development, with the aim of greater productivity and a higher quality of work.

Our faculty is drawn from people with real industry experience. Our qualified Education, Training and Development practitioners facilitate, assess, moderate, coach, mentor and develop learning material across our scope of provision. The curriculum places strong emphasis on business application and leadership, so that our graduates are ready to meet real-world challenges and help organisations compete in a global market.

We are building partnerships with government, the amateur and professional football leagues, and commercial sponsors to keep our programmes sustainable. Industry leaders are invited to help shape the skills of future professionals through advisory board activities, internships, job placement programmes, and joint research and teaching.
